Background: The Problem

Often clients come to us because they are frustrated by their inability to contribute larger amounts to their retirement plan on behalf of themselves or their key personnel.  Many clients offer a 401(k) plan and, because of the stringent testing requirements, owners or other key personnel are faced with either cutting back their personal 401(k) contributions or having portions of their personal 401(k) contributions returned to them each year.
