Ancora Donates to Local Food Banks on Giving Tuesday

Published:

We are happy to announce that, on behalf of our firm, employees, clients and friends, we are celebrating Giving Tuesday with a donation to both the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Detroit’s Forgotten Harvest once again this year.

Service is a core facet of Ancora’s culture and one which we are very proud of. We are fortunate to be able to serve our community by supporting these great organizations and their missions. According to the USDA, the prevalence of food insecurity in 2021 remained unchanged from 2020. As the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank served more than 345,000 people in 2021. Forgotten Harvest fights hunger in the greater metro Detroit area by rescuing food surpluses and distributing over 51 million pounds of food in a year to more than 250 agencies.

We are proud to have been able to present a donation to each of these organizations.
