Ancora Donates to Local Food Banks this Giving Tuesday

We are happy to announce that, on behalf of our firm, employees, clients and friends, we are celebrating Giving Tuesday with a donation to both the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Detroit’s Forgotten Harvest once again this year.

We are fortunate to be able to serve our community this Giving Tuesday by supporting these great organizations and their missions. According to the USDA, more than 44 million people, including over 7 million children, lived in food-insecure households last year, a notable increase from 2021.

As the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank served more than 400,000 households in 2022, distributing 52 million pounds of food to our neighbors facing food insecurity. Forgotten Harvest fights hunger and nutritious food waste in the greater metro Detroit area by rescuing food surpluses and distributing over 42 million pounds of food in a year to more than 250 agencies to alleviate food insecurity across southeast Michigan.

We are proud to have been able to present a donation to each of these organizations.
