Conor Sweeney
Director, Portfolio Manager
Mr. Sweeney joined Ancora in 2018 and serves as a Portfolio Manager in the firm’s Alternatives group for the small cap activist strategy. Conor previously led research efforts predominantly for the small cap activist strategy, covering sourcing, due diligence, modeling and investment monitoring after serving as an equity analyst for the Alternatives group. Prior to joining Ancora, Conor spent time as an equity analyst for KeyBanc Capital Markets covering the Transportation and Logistics space. Conor also served as an equity analyst for Longbow Research providing research and analysis focused on Consumer Durables and Powersports. Conor began his industry career with The PNC Financial Services Group in their Corporate Banking Underwriting Group.
Conor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in both Finance and Economics, from John Carroll University. He is a FINRA registered representative and has passed Level I of the CFA program.
